Linebacker Mike Peterson sprained his MCL in Saturday’s exhibition win over the Bucs.  Peterson will likely miss the opener against the Dallas Cowboys, and maybe more.  Nick Greisen will step in for him.

Running back Greg Jones took a shot on his left knee in the game on Saturday and sprained his left knee.  It is not known yet how much time he will miss.

These two injuries are an example of how dumb it is to play 4 pre-season games.

Lewis suffered a high ankle sprain in the opener of the exhibition season over the weekend.  Lewis could miss up to six weeks, which will definately hurt the passing game.  Lewis was drafted to give the team a receiving threat at tight end and will miss him alot.
