You can’t blame the Jaguars defense on Saturday night.  The Panthers only scored 10 of their points against the D, and seven points against the Jags offense as Mike Rucker returned a fumble 31 yards for a TD.  The Jaguars only gave up 256 total yards.

Byron Leftwich completed all four of his passes for 52 yards and looked very sharp.  David Garrard had a tough time, completing 7 of 11 passes for 86 yards with 2 pick-offs.  Third stringer Quinn Gray looked sharp again for the Jags, completing 10 of 19 passes for 82 yards and a TD, Gray also rushed twice for 16 yards.

LaBrandon Toefield led the rushing attack with 6 carries for 21 yards.  WR Reggie Williams finally showed a little something catching 3 passes for 54 yards.
